canonical
The canonical href is an absolute URL.
Why: Search engines may resolve a relative canonical link differently than you expect, such as against another domain that serves the same page.
When off: relative canonical links pass.
<!-- ✗ Fails -->
<link rel="canonical" href="/about/" />
<!-- ✓ Passes -->
<link rel="canonical" href="https://example.com/about/" />
